Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of ZipTimetable, a cloud-based timetable management service for schools and other educational institutions, provided by TODO_COMPANY_NAME, TODO_ADDRESS ("ZipTimetable", "we", "us"), through https://ziptimetable.com and the web app at https://app.ziptimetable.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

ZipTimetable lets an institution set up its teachers, classes, subjects and rooms, create and edit timetables, check for scheduling conflicts, record teacher absences, manage substitutions, and export or share timetables. We may improve, change or remove features from time to time.

2. Accounts

• You must be authorised to act for the school or institute you register.
• You must give accurate information and keep your login details confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for the users you add to it.

3. Free trial

New accounts get a 7-day free trial with access to the features of the Pro plan. No payment card is required to start the trial. When the trial ends, the account moves to a limited mode: you can still view your timetables, but editing and publishing require the Pro plan. Your data and timetables are retained, so you can upgrade at any time and continue where you left off.

4. Pro plan and billing

• The Pro plan is priced at ₹4,999 per year for the institution's account.
• The annual fee is payable in advance for a 12-month term.
• Taxes, auto-renewal and refunds: TODO_RENEWAL_AND_REFUND_POLICY
• We may change prices for future terms by giving you notice before the renewal date.
• The Enterprise plan is offered on custom terms agreed in writing. Contact support@ziptimetable.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to upload content you have no right to use;
• attempt to break, probe, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' data;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, except as the law allows;
• use automated means to scrape or bulk-create accounts;
• share your account with people outside your institution.

6. Your data

You own the data you put into the Service ("Customer Data"), such as teacher, class, subject and timetable information. You give us permission to process it only to provide and support the Service. You are responsible for having the right to enter any personal data of teachers or others into the Service. We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may export your timetables and ask us to delete your account data by writing to support@ziptimetable.com.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and branding, belongs to TODO_COMPANY_NAME or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your institution's internal purposes while your account is active.

8. Availability and your responsibility for results

We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Automatically generated timetables and substitution suggestions are an aid: please review them before you publish or rely on them.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose (and to nil for free-trial accounts). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service, or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example 7, 9 and 11) survive termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at TODO_CITY have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. For material changes we will give notice.
